Yacht Charters & Management
Deposits and Payments
To calendar a firm date, 50% of the total fee must be paid 90 days in advance of booking date. If your expected cruise date is less than 90 days before departure, 100% of the charter fee must be paid before your cruise date will be calendared and confirmed. If your travel plans are changed for emergency reasons, we will re-schedule for a later date.
If maintenance issues or anything within the control of Baja Charters prevents you from enjoying your booked cruise date, we will provide you with an alternative date that works within your travel plans. If your charter is cancelled due to Port closure, hurricane activity in the immediate area, or severe weather conditions, we will issue you an assignable, three-year cash certificate that may be used the same as cash for any future activities aboard a Baja Charter’s Yacht, Sports Fisher, or Dive Boat.
If you have prepaid a private charter or excursion, and voluntarily cancel your trip within ninety days of your departure date, we will provide you with a prepaid certificate good for three years, thereby allowing you to reorganize your affairs and go out at a later date. If you voluntarily cancel your prepaid trip MORE THAN ninety days in advance of departure, we will refund your money in full.
Returning guests receive a 10% discount off published prices. Further discounts are available for groups of twelve and over, for children under twelve years old, and military personnel serving anywhere in the world.
Subject to scheduling issues, and the captain's approval, charter guests are permitted to extend cruise time when out on the water. The hourly charge is set for each boat individually.
